Sizing & fit

Two ways to measure a ring, and four lengths to place a necklace. Either takes about a minute.

US size Circumference (mm)
US 5 49.3
US 6 51.8
US 7 54.3
US 8 57.2
US 9 59.7
US 10 62.2
US 11 64.7
US 12 67.2

How to measure the circumference

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper, or take a soft measuring tape.
  2. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight.
  3. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the strip in millimeters.
  4. Match that number to the chart and take the nearest size.

Measure in the evening. Fingers sit at their largest late in the day and in warm weather. A ring fitted then will still be comfortable in the morning.

Length decides where a piece rests, and where it rests decides how it reads.

The surest measure is one already owned. Lay a favorite necklace flat and measure it clasp to clasp.
